  Nice setting, Horrible experience!! We were seated at a nice window table with a nice view, the setting is beautiful. Unfortunately the atmosphere was ruined almost immediately. The owner welcomed us and told us about the buffet lunch and took our orders. Almost immediately I heard screaming from the kitchen. Then the chef came out and was yelling at the guy at the cash register. A server came to tell us that they had zero shrimp so our shrimp appetizers would not be coming so we ordered soup instead. Wouldn't you know you have no shrimp in the place before letting customers order it? Anyway, more yelling, more screaming. We got our food and my Mom's sweet potato fries were a mushy, soggy mess. My "homemade" potato chips were burnt and had a bad taste. I asked the owner if this was normal and she said that was how they always made them. My patty melt was more bread than anything, a tiny little burger with a few red onions on top. Looked like a thrown together mess. All through our lunch, more yelling and screaming of all the staff. Not just in the kitchen but at the cashier stand and in the dining room as well. The chef came out again to dismantle the buffet station and was yelling across the dining room at other staff and was slamming things around and banging chafing dishes around very loudly. The owner then proceeded to discuss staffing problems, finances, food problems, other staff members, etc. with a guy about three feet from our table. Totally unprofessional! The yelling and talking about other staff continued throughout the whole unpleasant lunch. When we paid the bill I tried to tell the owner she has a beautiful setting but all the yelling was very unpleasant and she just said "we have a lot going on" and walked away. Unbelievable. I got the feeling this was just the norm for them. Probably never going back!

  Company party: bar slow,food could be better.with that size of crowd room too small the noise level terrible. Clean facilities.
